Andrea Bainbridge Andrea is in her second year of the MSW program and was happy to complete the MPH portion of her dual degree at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health this past Spring. While at Johns Hopkins, Andrea focused on Health Policy and Comparative Health Systems. Andrea was also involved in a student-organized service trip to New Orleans where students volunteered with the St. Bernard's Project, working to rejuvenate the devastated area of the lower ninth ward. Andrea's advanced field placement will be at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services this year where she will be involved in disaster mental health preparedness initiatives. She completed her foundation field placement as a student therapist at Threshold Services Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Silver Spring, MD. Andrea is looking forward to collaborating with the other 4 scholars involved in this year's MCH Leadership Development Program. Andrea is also very excited to graduate in 2010! Outside of school, Andrea is involved in triathlons, spending time with her friends and family, and is a proud TERP!
